Bringing Mobility to new heights

Above is the screen shot of me connecting to my work computer via live Mesh. Some of you may know that I have been working on my miniscule Aspire ONE since last week and have been enjoying its mobility and constant connectivity. So, just a moment ago, I realized that I needed a photoshop file on my work computer. Using Live Mesh, I logged into my desktop remotely, fire up Photoshop (Photoshop runs well on my Aspire ONE, but I didn’t have the fonts needed for that one file) and started working on it. Once done, I copied the completed file into my Live Mesh folder and within minutes, I know that file is already on my Aspire as well as my home PC. I don’t know about  you, but that, to me, is just mind-blowingly cool!

A few of my friends witnessed this and are already thinking of getting an ultra portable netbook that will allow them to work remotely off their more powerful computers via Live Mesh. I think more and more mobile workers will be switching to this new style of working.
